Over the last few weeks, people have been asking how I’m doing through all the final celebrations…the senior moments, grad parties, the cap and gown parade at the elementary school, and all the “lasts”…

And honestly, I’ve been feeling great! It’s all been more celebratory than something sad…then it’s the little moments that get me…

Waking him up for school this morning for the very last time. That’s the one that has me sobbing and wanting to just lay down and hold him tight.

Gyah, I love this kid so much and I am forever grateful for our time, for every memory, for all the ordinary moments that somehow became the most extraordinary gift. I know we have a million more memories ahead of us, and I am so excited for everything ahead- for him, and for all of us. But this change…this chapter closing…is one I’m having a hard time even wrapping my head around.

Today, I’m just feeling all of it. Proud. Grateful. Emotional. And so incredibly lucky to be his mom. 💗
