Real Talk Wednesday — you don’t need 20% down to buy a home.

This is one of the biggest misconceptions I hear from buyers in Gulf Breeze, Navarre, and Midway — and it’s often what keeps people on the sidelines longer than they need to be.

There are loan options that allow buyers to get in with significantly less, depending on the situation. In many cases, buyers are able to purchase with much lower down payments while still finding the right home and building long-term equity.

What matters most is understanding what you actually qualify for — not just going off what you’ve heard.
