SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority)'s bus network overhaul launches this weekend.

Starting August 23, SEPTA is rolling out the first phase of its redesigned bus network, bringing new routes, extensions and service changes across Philadelphia.

For The Navy Yard employees and visitors, one important change: Route 45 will now provide direct service from Center City to the Navy Yard, eliminating the need to transfer to a shuttle for many riders.

20 businesses will be selected to receive a $50,000 forgivable loan to help them:
✅ Grow their business
✅ Secure new contracts
✅ Increase revenue
✅ Create jobs for Philadelphians

Eligible businesses must have at least $350,000 in annual revenue and a clear, feasible growth plan.
