Jillian Gonzalez, Philadelphia Realtor Awarded Philadelphia's Top Rated Real Estate Agent working for Re/Max Access Philadelphia Top Rated Real Estate Agent for 2014.

I work with RE/Max Access in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and think of myself as a REALTOR with heart. I built my career on my own terms and have found success in helping others meet their real estate goals. I have worked very hard to make it into RE/Max's Executive Club and The 100% Club now have my sights set on reaching for the next level! Prior to obtaining my license, I had been working three o

r four part time jobs to provide for my two children, who I was raising on my own. I always had an interest in real estate. My first glimpse of the real estate process was working at a title company. Before long I knew I wanted to be on the other side of the settlement table, but I was apprehensive about relying on a totally commission based profession. In 2006, I received my license and began to build my business. After some time and a lot of hard work, I was able to leave my other jobs and focus solely on my real estate career. In the years since obtaining my license, my main goal has been customer satisfaction. I strive to exceed every client's expectation of customer service. I genuinely want my clients to be happy. I can honestly say that I enjoy the entire process… from conversations with clients about what they need in their future homes and marketing strategies for homes that I am selling, to setting up inspections and assisting with obtaining the right lenders – every piece of the puzzle that is a real estate transaction. For so many, the process can be daunting and I try to make it as easy, stress-free and enjoyable as I can from start to finish for every single client and every single transaction. When our business has concluded, I hope that my clients are so satisfied with my performance that they invite me to the housewarming party! In order to be able to provide the level of customer service clients have come to expect from me, I continue to educate myself in all things real estate. I make great efforts to be knowledgeable in every aspect of this ever changing industry. Market conditions, mortgage types and rates, building codes, short sales, foreclosures, are just a spare few of the areas in which a GOOD realtor should be knowledgeable. But, I do not want to be a GOOD realtor, I want to be GREAT. So, I have made it my mission to educate myself by researching, reading various publications and speaking to various professionals and attorneys in these fields. I want to be able to provide a full service experience for every kind of client I meet with… from the clients who are looking for the high end, move in ready home to the client looking for a short sale or distressed home that they can renovate in their own taste. And I will hold their hand every step of the way until they are confident in their purchase and ready to make the next step to ownership! I will be both their offense and defense to ensure that their best interests are met. I am now happily married and have met success in my career, but I am not satisfied with "good enough". While the real estate industry has allowed me to provide for my family and attain financial freedom, I continue to be goal driven because I know there is always room for improvement. My commitment to excellent customer service will not waiver and I will continue to treat each client I have as if they were my only client and walk them through the entire process step by step… because when my clients are happy, so am I!

πŸŽ“ Graduation Season! πŸŽ“

Every diploma tells a story of hard work, growth, and new beginnings.

One of my favorite things about this time of year is seeing students cross the stage and celebrate all of their hard work. Whether it's preschool, kindergarten, high school, college, or a trade school program, every graduation is a milestone worth celebrating.

As a grandma, seeing my little one graduate and move on to their next adventure is especially heartwarming. ❀️

It's a reminder that every ending is really the beginning of something new.

✨ New opportunities
✨ New goals
✨ New dreams

And that's something worth celebrating.

Do you have a graduate in your family this year? Share their accomplishment in the comments so we can celebrate them together!

πŸ‘πŸ˜‚ A Day in the Life of a Realtor πŸ˜‚πŸ‘

People see the sold signs and closing photos...

What they don't see is me talking to myself in the car like a complete crazy lunatic.

β˜• 8:00 AM β€” "This is going to be an amazing day!"

πŸ“± 8:15 AM β€” "Why are there already 37 text messages?"

🏑 10:00 AM β€” Showings are going great!

πŸ“ 11:00 AM β€” Writing a offer on a multi-offer property that's so strong it practically comes with my firstborn child.

🀞 11:30 AM β€” "There's no way we're not getting this house!"

πŸ“ž 3:00 PM β€” "The seller chose another offer."

😭 3:01 PM β€” "I quit. I'm opening a garden center and raising tomatoes."

πŸ’” 3:05 PM β€” Consoling disappointed buyers while secretly needing consoling myself.

πŸ“² 4:00 PM β€” New listing hits the market.

πŸ’ͺ 4:01 PM β€” "LET'S GO! WE'RE BACK IN THE GAME!"

πŸŽ‰ 5:00 PM β€” Offer accepted for another client.

πŸ”‘ Closing Day β€” Happy tears, hugs, key handoffs, and remembering exactly why I love what I do.

Being a Realtor is basically a daily mix of excitement, stress, negotiations, disappointment, problem-solving, caffeine, and controlled chaos.

One minute you're celebrating a win...
The next minute you're Googling how much land you need to start a goat farm. πŸ˜‚πŸ

And honestly? I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Realtor friends... tell me I'm not the only one! πŸ€£πŸ‘‡

🌟 Favorite of the Week 🌟

This week's favorite?

❀️ The People Inside It ❀️

A beautiful kitchen is nice.
A big backyard is great.
And who doesn't love a cozy front porch?

But the thing that truly makes a house feel like home isn't the square footage or the upgrades...

It's the laughter shared around the dinner table, the holiday traditions, the pets waiting at the door, and the memories made with the people you love most.

As a Realtor, I've walked through thousands of houses over the years, but it's always the stories and memories behind those doors that turn a house into a home.

What is the one thing that makes your house feel like home?

I'd love to hear your answers in the comments!

🏑 Let's Talk Real Estate! 🏑

You're buying a home and find out that there are multiple offers on the table. The seller asks everyone to present their highest and best offer.

Would you consider using an Escalation Clause Addendum? πŸ€”

An escalation clause allows a buyer to automatically increase their offer by a set amount above a competing offer, up to a maximum price they're willing to pay.

For example:
πŸ’° You offer $400,000
πŸ’° You agree to beat any competing offer by $2,000
πŸ’° Your maximum offer is $420,000

It can be a powerful tool in a competitive market, but it's not always the right strategy for every situation.

πŸ‘‰ Have you ever used an escalation clause when buying a home?
πŸ‘‰ If you were buying today, would you use one or prefer to submit your highest and best offer from the start?

Drop your thoughts in the comments! I'd love to hear what you think. ⬇️

There’s just something about sitting outside with a cup of coffee as the weather gets warmer, enjoying the sunshine, Garden and soaking in a quiet moment before the day begins. β˜€οΈβ˜•πŸ‘

🏑 Buying a home? Let me help you from making small mistakes that can turn into big delays!

One of the most important parts of the home buying process is keeping your finances steady from contract to closing. A new car, missed payment, or large deposit could impact your loan approval.

Here are the β€œ10 Commandments” every buyer should keep in mind while purchasing a home! πŸ“‹βœ¨

Thinking about buying this year? I’d love to help guide you through the process from start to finish. ❀️
