The other day I got asked, “Is it difficult to look at other houses all day? Does it make you feel like the grass is always greener?” Funny enough I haven’t ever really experienced true house envy. And that’s not because my house is perfect - far from it (hello, laundry basically in the kitchen, no half bath I’d love, weird textured walls etc) And it’s not because I don’t see stunning homes all day - because obviously that’s a perk of the job 🙃 I think it’s that thing you can’t quantify. It feels like ‘home’. It’s an open door to every neighbor and friend. And it’s the fun projects big and small that have let us make it feel like us!

I have a long list of more projects on the horizon: outdoor living space, guest room refresh, built ins in the bonus room and a detached garage apartment ones of these days hopefully! One thing is true: there is always something to do!
