Remember the house that got away?

The one with the inspection that uncovered more than anyone bargained for. The encroachment issue. Not one, but two title issues. My buyers had already moved out of their rental to stay with family, closing day just days away, and still — we couldn't get there. We had to walk.

I know how disappointing that felt at the time.

But this is exactly why I never stop believing the right house is still out there, even when the wrong one falls apart.

A family very special to us just went under agreement on 72 New St — private land, room for a real homestead, and enough space for their babies to run further than any backyard could ever let them.

They've talked about this life for years. Gardens. Chickens. Mud on tiny boots. A slower, more rooted way of raising their kids. Watching it actually happen — and getting to be the one who helped make it happen — is the kind of full-circle moment that reminds me why I love this job.
