This was a pretty close call with these fasteners!!

These fasteners are for the garage door hanger, and they must be securely embedded in the ceiling chord, because drywall is certainly not strong enough to hold the garage door. Also, this was a pretty close call in almost damaging the thermostat wiring...

Monday Madness!

Yes, as usual, this new construction warranty inspection yields more proof of rushed construction and errors in framing.

Here we have trusses that twisted and are not secured under the gusset plates, roof decking not nailed down to the roof truss framing, and a concrete header not poured properly over a main entry door. All of this in the same house!

Sure, this can be corrected, but how will you know if you do not hire a home inspector to find these issues for you?

Finding these issues while under warranty is an incredible opportunity. Don't be a seller finding out about these issues too late that you could have held the builder accountable to correct.
