Labor Day used to mean the end of summer… and back to school. 🍎

For years, this weekend meant switching gears, getting my classroom ready, and preparing for another school year.

Now, Labor Day looks a little different. 💗🌊🐾

Leaving teaching and building CB Styers Realty and joining eXp Realty gave me something I didn’t fully understand the value of back then freedom.

Freedom to build my own schedule.
Freedom to work from Raleigh, the beach, or wherever life takes me.
Freedom to create a business and a life that actually fit together.

I still work hard probably harder than ever but now I’m building something of my own.

And these days, my favorite coworker has four paws. 🐾😂

Feeling very grateful for how much life can change when you’re willing to take a chance on yourself.

I didn’t leave teaching just to become a Realtor. I built a business that would give me the freedom to actually enjoy moments like this. 💗🌴

Not a vacation where I’m constantly checking the clock or counting down the days until I have to go back. A vacation where I can actually be present, relax, and enjoy the life I worked so hard to create.

It didn’t happen overnight. I built it intentional one client, one relationship, and one big leap at a time.

Turns out, changing careers didn’t just change my job.

It changed the way I get to live my life. ✨

And this? This is exactly why I did it. 🥂☀️

Another trip around the sun almost complete, and I can’t help but look back at how much can change in a year.

The wins. The lessons. The unexpected turns. The people who stayed. The dreams that got bigger. And the version of me I’m becoming along the way. 💕

Tomorrow starts a brand-new chapter, and I’m walking into it grateful, excited, and very ready for what’s next.

The one thing that never changes is Rocky right by my side. 🐾❤️
