We've all gotten them: that random "Hey, are you looking to sell 123 Main St for cash?" text out of nowhere. 📲

While a few of these come from actual investors, plenty are just phishing expeditions looking for easy personal data, or worse, setting up real estate impersonation scams. 🎣 It’s way too easy to leak details about your mortgage, timeline, or finances without realizing it.

If a buyer seems legit, verify who they are independently before replying. NEVER share sensitive details over a cold text, and remember that real transactions always go through secure channels.
