How about this brand-new HOMEOWNER?! 🏡 So happy for my client Owen, who closed on this cool MCM pad on Friday … and a shout-out to his mom Darlene, who cheered him on every step of the way there. 👏🏼 This new nest had a great sense of style and convenience to the Salem Civic Center (🎆, anyone?), and I can’t wait to see how he makes this spot his own. Thrilled & grateful!

The biggest HAPPY CLOSING DAY to my longtime clients, Chase & Mandy, who closed on this cool mountain getaway cottage today. 🎉🥂 A story: three years ago, I sold this wonderful family’s stunning home in SoCo as they were relocating to Charleston. I thought I’d probably seen the last of them, but I always held out a slice of hope that life would send them back this way. As it turns out, I got the next best thing. 🙂 A month ago, I spotted a listing for a small, sweet home in Bent Mountain, perched near a flowing steam and with distant views of the mountains. I knew they were pondering a place for their escapes to Roanoke, and this seemed perfect — simple, quiet, but not too far from all their friends in town. Long story short: they bought it, and they’ll soon be here to celebrate in their new digs. 👏🏼 Welcome back, Chase & Mandy! I know there are many who will be thrilled to reconnect with you as you return to Roanoke for a little regular R&R!

A little rain is no match for these bright smiles! ☀️ On Wednesday, I met my clients Kathleen & Matthew & the kiddos for a final walkthrough of their new home — a peaceful 1920s cottage tucked just across the street from the Roanoke River Greenway, and around the corner from . When the skies opened in a sudden downpour during our photo shoot, they didn’t miss a beat … and there was something sweet about the sound of the rain drumming on the front-porch roof of their first home. Today, I’m wishing them a very happy move-in weekend, and years of good memories in this nest: long greenway walks, impromptu ice-cream dates, and summer evenings splashing in the river. Welcome Home to some truly exceptional clients! 🙂
