A little neighborhood hero story from today. ❤️
A grass fire started near one of our neighbor’s homes this afternoon and began spreading frighteningly fast. Thankfully, Aaron with Emerald Lawns happened to be driving by, saw the smoke, and immediately stopped, unrolled his hose, and went to work fighting the fire.
While several of us called 911 and the fire department was on the way, Aaron didn’t hesitate. His quick thinking and willingness to jump in may very well have saved more than one home today.
We are incredibly grateful. Thank you, Aaron, for being in the right place at the right time—and, more importantly, for being the kind of person who stops to help. ❤️
And a huge thank you to our firefighters for getting there quickly and making sure everyone and everything was safe. 🚒
Sometimes you get a wonderful reminder that there are really good people in this world. ❤️
