Welcome to Florida Taylors! Chris and I have known each other for 30 years, we were in the HVJ marching band together back in 1996…the base drum line. 🤣
So when Chris reached out last year about potentially moving to the area, I was excited to help them find their home! We started looking in the spring and let me tell you…the spring market was WEIRD. We got outbid in multiple offer situations more than once.
After lots of looking, lots of falling in love with houses we didn’t get, Chris and I walked a Fleming Island home with Hope on FaceTime for the 2nd time to see if they liked it enough to settle. If you’ve worked with me, you know that is NOT how I want my clients’ experience to be. We hung up with Hope and Chris sat there for a bit. I got back on my phone and looked around at houses one more time. There was a vacant house one street over that hadn’t really been in our search for some reason. I convinced Chris to go see it since we were there and it was easy to see. He walked in and said “this is it”. 😳 Then came the FaceTime with Hope 🫣 My first words were “please don’t be mad, be we stopped at one more house”.
That one more house became their home yesterday. They’ve got the pool, the view, and the peacefulness they were after and I am so excited for them! Welcome home Taylors!
