The MAN does it again!! Thanks, Ferg, for saving the ICONIC Chattaway!

Ferg extends life of Chattaway.

Mark Ferguson, owner of Ferg's Sports Bar & Grill is joining a group to take over the iconic Chattaway.

Late Sunday night, a “Seminole Happenings” post said Mark had teamed up with Shrimpys Waterfront ownership to complete the Chattaway purchase.

I texted Mark, early Monday, about the situation, and mostly wanted to know what everyone on social media is asking: THE NAME?

His response: “of course, we’re keeping the name!”

So, this ends up being pretty cool. The Chattaway has an awesome run under the original owners, and now gets to stay “iconic” with new Pinellas ownership! WIN-WIN!

Who’s relieved that condos or a Chipotle isn’t replacing one of our favorite spots?
