Realtor Partners – A Friendly but Important Note 🤝
I truly value our partnerships and the business we do together. As a Community Sales Manager for a home builder, I want nothing more than for you to succeed, earn great commissions, and keep bringing happy buyers to our community.
That said, I want to clear up something important about agent bonuses.
Builder bonuses are temporary incentives. Sometimes they apply to:
• Selected homes
• Sometimes the whole community
• And they can change every few days based on inventory and goals
Because of that, bonuses are not guaranteed long-term.
I’ve had situations where an agent visits, comes back weeks later with a buyer, and the bonus is no longer available — and understandably they’re disappointed. But I want to be very transparent:
bonuses are never something I personally control or can promise.
At the end of the day, our shared priority should always be:
👉 The client’s best interest — the home, the community, the price, and the value.
If a buyer loves the home, the location, and the deal makes sense, that should come first. Bonuses are a plus, not the foundation of the decision.
I care about our partnership and want you to win — but I also ask for understanding when incentives change. Let’s stay aligned, communicate openly, and keep doing what we do best: making our buyers happy and homeowners.
