**Notice to Residents: Door-to-Door Solicitation**

Dear Residents,

We want to make you aware of a recent incident on the property involving individuals wearing TruConnect shirts claiming to be “making deliveries for Lifeline from the State.”

There is no standard Lifeline process where:

* The State sends representatives to deliver devices to random homes
* Or assigns subcontractors to specific addresses

These individuals were not authorized by management and were asked to leave.

While there are legitimate programs—such as the federal Lifeline program—that provide discounted or free phone service to qualifying households, these services are not distributed without prior application and approval, and devices are typically shipped directly to the enrollee.

For your safety and privacy, please keep the following in mind:

* **Do not share personal information** (such as Social Security numbers, ID, or benefit details) with anyone at your door.
* **Do not sign up for services on the spot.**
* **All vendors and service providers must have prior authorization from management** to be on the property. Management does not authorize door-to-door contact by outside providers unless they are contracted to perform work on the property.

* You may say: *“Management does not allow unsolicited contact by outside providers and has not approved your company to be here.”*
* If someone claims to be from a government program, apply directly through official channels rather than engaging at your door.

* You may say: *“I don’t do government program enrollment at the door. If it’s legitimate, I will apply directly online.”*
* Or: *“No deliveries were requested here. Please leave.”*

If you encounter anyone soliciting or claiming to provide services without prior notice, please do not engage and notify management immediately.

**Property Policy:**

* No door-to-door solicitation or enrollment for services, including government programs, is permitted on the property.
* Individuals may not claim affiliation with government agencies without verifiable identification.
* All vendors must check in with management, provide identification, and leave immediately if directed to do so.

Under California Penal Code § 602, any person who refuses to leave private property after being directed to do so by management is trespassing and may be reported to law enforcement.

Our priority is to maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact management.

Thank you,
Management

We just reported a Park wide electrical outage to SDGE. It’s a branch outage and they are investigating the cause right now. They estimate restoration at 1:30pm at this point.

01/21/2026

Early this morning Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) were on the property executing a criminal search warrant. Management was on the scene within minutes and witnessed (and filmed) the operation. These were not ICE agents.

Once the home was secured, an officer was able to give us more information, stressing that the operation was not immigration related, it was a criminal in nature. As they were wrapping up their search, the lead in the operation showed Management a judicial warrant signed by a judge.

Last week agents were in the Park in unmarked vehicles looking for particular vehicles related to the case. Management spoke with one of them, who communicated that they were looking for a vehicle. Friday evening agents impounded a vehicle parked in the front parking. The same evening they executed a warrant to search another related vehicle.

During a power outage here some quick safety tips to follow:

Use flashlight rather than candle for light

Turn off major appliances like dishwasher or A/C that were running when the power went out to prevent them from starting unexpectedly when power is restored

Unplug or turn off TVs, stereos or game systems

Leave one light on so you know when power is restored

Supplies to keep on hand:

A flashlight with a supply of fresh batteries.

A portable battery-powered radio so you can keep up with the news.

A telephone that does not depend on electricity. Cordless phones will not function during an outage.

A supply of easy-to-prepare, nonperishable foods. This includes packaged snacks and bottled water and juices.

A wind-up or battery-operated clock.

A first-aid kit.

A manual can opener.

Keep your fridge closed so it stays cold longer.

Maintenance Power Outage Alert

Dear KEARNEY LODGE,

We need to perform necessary maintenance on the electrical equipment in your area. To keep our crews safe while they upgrade the electric systems that serve you, it's necessary to temporarily turn off your power.
We understand it's inconvenient to be without power for any length of time. For that reason, we always try to limit the number of customers impacted by these planned outages. Also, our crews strive to complete the work as quickly and as safely as possible to restore your power in a timely manner.
