My colleague and I sold this historic building where they used the upper offices for the gay Olympics here in SF in the 1970s. I got to represent the owner closely and after deciding it wasn't the right time to sell in 2022 we ended up finally selling it for the amount the owner wanted this year in 2025.

Providing seller financing and aggressively marketing it through grassroots efforts and competitive interest rates we were able to close the deal with all parties being satisfied.

For a historic mixed use building insurance and lending on it is extremely difficult. Also, original infrastructure wasn't in the best condition and most remodel work had not been completed here in years so to have this come to fruition was nothing short of challenging. Luckily the new owners did not displace any of the tenants for both the commercial and residential units which was good to see to help foster the community trust.
