We love a good before and after, and as is often the case in a real estate sale, there’s a backstory with each home.

We first helped these clients purchase this home about 10 years ago. Since then, they’ve sold and purchased another home with me and kept this property as a rental and recently received an exciting opportunity that is taking them abroad.

One of their biggest stresses was figuring out how to get this house sold after their tenants moved out, but before they themselves left the country. So we started planning early. As soon as the tenants vacated, we got to work. We focused on the improvements we felt would make the biggest difference, managed the details, and moved quickly to get the home ready for market.

This is one of our favorite parts of what we do. We love transforming homes and helping sellers decide where their money will have the greatest impact. Sometimes a homeowner understandably wonders whether a certain repair, update or finishing touch is really worth doing. Then you see the before-and-after photos and the difference becomes clear.

The right buyer came along, the sale came together, and we closed just a couple of weeks before our clients moved abroad. Our goal was achieved for a transformed home, a successful sale, and one very big item off their list before starting their next adventure.

This month marks 22 years since I began my career in real estate, and I can't think of a better way to celebrate this milestone than by sharing this exciting announcement.

I'm thrilled to officially welcome Kurt Genkin to PBNW Homes Team at Ensemble as my new business partner!

After working together with many clients and transactions over the past two years, it became clear that we share similar values, work ethic and commitment to taking exceptional care of our clients.
