Why this old house captured my heart: built in 1865, with a staircase worn in all the right places, the original floors and doors, the floor-to-ceiling windows, the arches, the old stove that’s been here longer than any renovation trend.
What she needs now: someone with vision, someone who can bring her back to life, restore what matters, and swap the Home Depot cabinets for something with character that will honor the history.
And if you ask me what I see: a proper gated entrance with columns and black iron gates, a stone patio with a pergola, curated furnishings, the antique stove as a focal point in the new but old kitchen…

Older homes are more than square footage, or pretty finishes, they hold a century of stories.

When we listed this 1927 Dutch Colonial, the response was immediate. This gem saw a ton of foot traffic, back-to-back showings for days. Clear communication and firm negotiation led to 14 offers. My job was to filter the frenzy, protect the seller, and get us to the finish line. We closed on April 14th for 121K over list. It’s officially in new hands, and its new chapter about to begin.
