Tony and Jordan were each thriving in their own lane. Both had momentum, both had vision, and both could have kept going solo. But they recognized something bigger: to build a company that could truly serve communities, they needed each other.

Think Shaq and Kobe. Two dominant forces who understood that a championship demanded more than individual talent. For Tony and Jordan, that meant setting egos aside and trusting what the other brought to the table. That decision became the foundation of InnerCityDevelopment, and it's the reason we've grown into what we are today.

But the lesson goes beyond the two of them. None of this happens with one person. Every home we build, every community we shape, and every milestone we reach is the result of a team committed to the same mission.

HOW WE DEFINE “GANGSTER”!

Our definition of a gangster? Someone who comes back and builds up the block they grew up on.

For Tony, real estate development is simple math. Recession, AI, whatever's next, people will always need a place to sleep. Affordable, Section 8, or public-private, a home is always in demand, and the industry is projected to stay behind for the next 10 years. Add up the land and build costs, sell for more, and the numbers make sense.

But the numbers aren't the whole story. Tony is putting up homes on the same streets he walked and ran as a kid, good days and bad. He's turning what was bad into something good, and now those streets are a beautiful, developed site.

His block. His city. Built by him and his team. 💪

WHY REAL ESTATE? 👀

When Tony looked at high-paying careers like doctor or attorney, he knew they weren't the right fit. But when he discovered real estate and investing, everything clicked.

A full-ride opportunity to Indiana University in Bloomington opened the door to thinking for himself and finding new ways to operate in business. Going into his junior year, he picked up The Millionaire Real Estate Investor and never looked back. The more he read, the more he realized the knowledge he wanted was right at his fingertips online.

Tony fell in love with the process, and he was determined to make it happen.

The rest is history.
