As a Realtor®, I spend a lot of time thinking about homes, neighborhoods, and the stories they tell. Visiting the National Building Museum in Washington, DC was a reminder that the places we live are shaped by design, history, and the people who call them home.

Housed in a historic building completed in 1887 as the U.S Pension Bureau Building, the museum explores how architecture, construction and community influence our daily lives. We could have spent hours exploring the exhibits and admiring the architecture.🏛️🏡
