One of the things I love most about what I do is the people I get to meet along the way.
A few weeks ago, someone reached out to me about one of my listings and mentioned they wanted to fly in from Colorado to see the home. They chose a weekend that happened to fall on my birthday weekend. I let them know I would be happy to show the property, but if possible, I preferred an earlier showing since I had family coming into town to celebrate.
Not only were they understanding, but they went out of their way to make it easier on me. They adjusted their travel plans, arrived on Thursday, and scheduled the showing first thing Friday morning so I could enjoy the rest of the weekend with my family.
Then, when they arrived for the showing, they surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my birthday.
I spend a lot of my time trying to go above and beyond for my clients, and moments like this remind me just how lucky I am to work with such thoughtful people. It was incredibly sweet to be on the receiving end of that kindness.
Real estate is so much more than houses and contracts. It's about relationships, connections, and the amazing people you meet along the way.
