The new multi-use path on the Howard Frankland Bridge is now open, providing a nearly 7-mile-long pathway, separated from the roadway for pedestrians and cyclists. There are also several lookout points with benches and shade.

FDOT says access to the 12-foot-wide path is available from sunrise to sunset. Connection points are located at the north end of 4th Street in St. Petersburg and the south end of Reo Street in Tampa.
