Two floors. Endless possibilities.💫

The MQ Field House is being built to become Southern Arizona’s premier indoor multi-sport venue - designed for basketball, volleyball, pickleball, futsal, wrestling, judo, community events, and more.

Every space inside this building was intentionally created to bring people together through sport, competition, connection, and community. This isn’t just another sports complex - it’s part of a bigger vision for Tucson.

Before the murals go up… the vision comes first.🎨

These locations weren’t chosen by chance - they were mapped out to make Mosaic Quarter a place where art lives across the entire campus.

A mural destination in the making, right here in Tucson.📍

Stay with us - this is going to be something special.

We showed up where Tucson was already playing. 👀

This weekend at PlayPalooza with hosted at - and it was exactly what this city needs more of.

A full day of energy, families, sports, creativity, and community all in one place. From games to STEM activities to just kids being kids… this is what it looks like when a space is built for people to show up and engage.

And it’s only the beginning.

Mosaic Quarter is coming - and we’re building something even bigger for Tucson to gather, play, and celebrate.

🏐🏈⚽️🏀 What kind of events do you want to see at MQ?

A new layer of Mosaic Quarter is coming to life...🎨

We’re proud of officially announce that Mosaic Quarter will be home to Tucson’s newest mural destination – a large-scale public art program designed to reflect the culture, creativity, and identity of our community.

From the very beginning, this project was about more than building a campus – it was about creating a place people can feel. And that includes art.

We’ve partnered with six incredible Tucson muralists: Ignacio Garcia, Jessica Gonzales, Pen Macias, Danny Martin, Rock Martinez, and Joe Pagac – artists whose work helps define the visual voice of this city.

Across Mosaic Quarter, their work will be woven into the experience through:
⭐️7 murals at the MQ Iceplex
⭐️A wraparound mural at the Central Utility Plant
⭐️3 murals at the MQ Field House

These murals aren’t an afterthought – they’re foundational to how this space comes together.

Important note: The images shown here are renderings of where murals will live across campus. Any artwork labeled “sample” is for placement and visualization purposes only and does not represent the final mural designs.

This is about honoring Tucson’s legacy of public art while creating something entirely new – a destination where sport, community, and creativity all exist in one place.

And this is just the beginning.

🏗️ Women in Construction Week = Mari.

At Mosaic Quarter, every beam, pipe, and system installed is part of a much bigger vision for Tucson - and it takes an incredible team to make it happen.

Meet Mari Aguilar, Project Manager with Sun Mechanical, who helps keep critical systems and construction coordination moving forward on site.

Mari is part of the team turning plans into progress every single day as Mosaic Quarter continues to rise.

Because the future of construction includes talented women leading the way. 👷‍♀️

🏗️ Women in Construction Week = Rebecca.

Behind every beam raised and wall framed at Mosaic Quarter are incredible partners helping bring this vision to life.

In celebration of Women in Construction Week, we’re highlighting the women helping shape the future of this campus - including Rebecca Stratton, Site Safety Engineer with Hensel Phelps, who helps keep our job site safe while progress continues every day.

MQ is being built by a community of leaders, innovators, and builders who believe in what this space will become for Tucson.

And yes - women are leading the way. 👷‍♀️
