This month I’m sharing a mix of our current favorites + what’s on our bucket list—think: the best garden centers to wander (while the kids run ahead 🙃), parks we have to check out, and a few local events worth getting on your calendar.

Lately, you can find us soaking up every warm-ish day at new parks, starting spring soccer, attempting a pantry cleanout, and sitting on our deck as much as possible (all while battling those spring allergies… if you know, you know 🤧🌷).

Not every home sells overnight… and that’s okay.

This one was on the market for 116 days—and honestly, it’s a great reminder that real estate isn’t always what social media makes it look like.

BUT here’s the part you don’t always see 👇
My seller had found their next home (new construction that wasn’t quite finished yet), so time was actually on our side.

Instead of rushing, we stayed patient.
Kept the home show-ready (seriously, they were amazing at this 🙌).
And waited for the right buyers to come along.

And they did 💛

April showers are already doing their thing… 🌧️ But before we fully jump into spring, I had to take a second to look back at March 💛

3 closings
3 under contract
1 active listing

and so many conversations + listing prep happening behind the scenes

And here’s the part that means the most to me…
✨ all 3 of those closings came from referrals or past clients ✨

That’s not something I take lightly.
It means someone trusted me enough to pass my name along to a friend, family member, or coworker—and that means everything to me + my business.

Between helping amazing clients, answering “is now the right time?”, and soaking up the chaos of Iowa weather with my crew… it was a full month in the best way.

Still smiling after tonight’s 2025 awards banquet ✨

It’s crazy how 2025 somehow feels like it flew by and was forever ago at the same time—but what a year worth celebrating. I was honored to help a record number of clients buy + sell homes across Central Iowa this past year, and I don’t take that lightly for a second.

While the numbers are exciting, the award that means the most to me every single year is the Quality Service Award. This is something I’ve earned every year since getting into real estate, and it truly means everything to me.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about transactions—it’s about people.
It’s about showing up, communicating, guiding, and caring for each and every client like they’re my family.

That’s the foundation of my business and the reason I love what I do so much 🤍
