In 2015, my husband Eric and I made the move to beautiful North Venice, Florida, near the beach, where we established The Hargreaves Team®. Before making our home here, my family and I resided in the vibrant city of Las Vegas. I am grateful for the countless advantages of residing in Florida, with its unparalleled natural beauty, pristine white-sand beaches, year-round pleasant weather, and many recreational opportunities. My educational journey led me to earn a bachelor’s degree in business from the New York Institute of Technology in 1996, while my extensive international travels broadened my horizons. I obtained my real estate license in 2005, setting the stage for my professional career. My enthusiastic, can-do attitude and caring nature make it easy for me to identify my clients' desires and skillfully guide them to fulfill their home-buying dreams. With over 20 years of experience in sales and three successful start-ups under my belt, I still find immense joy in assisting my clients, whom I consider my friends, in finding peace of mind in their real estate endeavors. 🏡 WHAT’S THE BEST TIME OF YEAR TO SELL A HOME IN VENICE, FLORIDA?

If we had a magic month when every home sold quickly for top dollar, trust us… we’d have it circled on the calendar. 😉

The truth? There isn’t one “perfect” month to sell a home in Venice.

Yes, Southwest Florida has a season. ☀️🌴 Winter brings snowbirds, seasonal residents and visitors and often more potential buyers.

But here’s the part sellers sometimes forget: buyers don’t pack up and disappear when season ends.

People retire, relocate, buy second homes, move closer to family and make lifestyle changes all year long.

And more buyers doesn’t automatically mean a better time to sell. If 10 homes similar to yours hit the market at the same time, you’re also competing for those buyers. Sometimes less competition can be your secret weapon.

Your neighborhood matters, too. A Venice Island condo may have a different selling pattern than a home in Wellen Park or a golf community.

So instead of asking:
“What’s the best month to sell?”

We think the better question is:
👉 “What are inventory, buyer demand and competition doing for MY home right now?”

Because the best time to sell isn’t necessarily a month on the calendar; it’s when the market, your home and your plans line up. 🔑
