Today, we pause with heavy hearts to remember September 11th.
We remember the lives that were taken far too soon and the families who woke up that morning expecting an ordinary day, only to have their lives changed forever.
We remember the husbands and wives, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, friends, and coworkers who never had the chance to say goodbye.
We remember the first responders who ran toward danger. The firefighters, police officers, EMTs, military members, and everyday heroes who put the lives of others before their own.
And we remember the days that followed—the way strangers became neighbors, communities came together, and our country stood united in grief, compassion, and strength.
Time moves forward, but the memories remain. Behind every name is a life, a family, a story, and people who still miss them every single day.
Today, we honor them by remembering—not only the tragedy, but the courage, selflessness, love, and unity that came from it.
May we never forget those we lost, those who served, and those whose lives were forever changed.
Forever remembered. Forever honored.
