On Saturday, May 2 (9:00 AM – noonish), volunteers will come together at the African American Civil War Memorial to help clean, plant, and improve the Vermont Avenue median gardens and surrounding beds.

This annual event brings neighbors, partners, and volunteers together to help keep one of DC’s historic corridors vibrant and welcoming — and we’re honored to be part of it.
