And… FRIDAY AFTERNOON COURIERS. 🚗💨📄

Because when it’s Friday, there’s a closing on the line, and the couriers are all off… Meg & Emily hightail it themselves to get the paperwork where it needs to go. 😂

Why?!?! Because our clients come first. ALWAYS.

Around here, “that’s not my job” really isn’t in our vocabulary. If something needs to happen to get our clients to the closing table, one of us is grabbing the keys while the other is grabbing the paperwork. ⚓️🏡

🇺🇸 September 11th — We Will Never Forget

25 years later, we still remember.

Today, The Homeport Team at RE/MAX Legends joins our Southeastern Connecticut, Groton and New London communities in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honoring the first responders who ran toward danger, and recognizing the men and women who answered the call to serve in the years that followed.
Here in Southeastern Connecticut, home to Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, the connection to our military runs especially deep.
As military spouses of Navy submarine veterans, September 11th is personal to us. We have seen firsthand the sacrifices made not only by our service members, but by the military families standing beside them through deployments, missed milestones, moves, homecomings, and years of service.
Today isn’t about real estate. It’s about our community, our country, and remembering those whose lives were forever changed that day.

🇺🇸 We remember the lives lost.
⚓️ We honor the heroes.
❤️ We are grateful for those who served—and those who continue to serve.

May we never forget September 11, 2001, or the way our country came together in the days that followed.

As much as we love selling houses, handing over keys, and helping families find their perfect HomePort, at the end of the day, we’re family bums at heart. 💕 We love being with our families, cheering on our kiddos, and being part of the same community where we live, work, play…and sell a few houses along the way! ⚓️🏡

After years of dedication and service to the United States Navy, it’s officially time for RETIREMENT — and what better way to celebrate than trading Connecticut winters for Florida sunshine?! ☀️🌴🌊

With a major move already on their plate, the last thing they needed was extra stress over selling their Connecticut home.
