As a licensed Realtor, I CANNOT tell you if a neighborhood is “safe.” 😂🏡

But if I casually mention that everybody leaves their doors open…their bikes are sitting unattended in the front yard…and nobody seems too concerned…

I NEED Y’ALL TO READ BETWEEN THE LINES. 😭😂

I can give you the resources. I can tell you what I observe. I can help you do your research.

But I am NOT losing my real estate license because somebody looked me dead in my face and said:

“Travis…be honest. Is this the hood?” 😂😂😂

I’ve already said too much.

And as far as those bikes I “borrowed” back in the day… they have all been returned and my attorney has advised me to move on. 🚲💨

🏡 FOLLOW for real estate advice they definitely didn’t teach us in licensing class.

Would YOU consider yourself dependable? 👀

We spend so much time worrying about whether other people keep their word to us… but how often do we keep our word to ourselves?

“I’m waking up early.”
“I’m going to work out.”
“I’m going to make that call.”
“I’m going to start.”
“I’m going to change.”

Every time we follow through, we give ourselves another reason to trust ourselves.

That’s where REAL confidence starts.

Not from motivational quotes.
Not from somebody believing in us.
Not from waiting until we feel ready.

Maybe confidence isn’t something we need to find…

Maybe confidence is what happens when we finally become someone WE can depend on.

So why would you want that from your real estate agent?

Sometimes the price is too high.
Sometimes the offer isn’t good enough.

Sometimes the deal just doesn’t make sense.

My job isn’t to agree with everything my clients say. My job is to tell them the TRUTH — and learn how to deliver that truth in a way that helps them make the best decision.

You can be honest without being disrespectful. You can disagree without being difficult. And you can tell a client something they don’t want to hear while still showing them you’re 100% on their side.

A good friend tells you the truth.
