Why go all the way to Nantucket when you could be 20 minutes from Minneapolis? 😉

Nantucket certainly has its charms. But Lake Minnetonka has mornings on the water, coffee by boat, charming little downtowns, dinner on the lake, and some pretty spectacular places to call home - without needing a ferry reservation.

And if a move to Minnesota is actually on your radar, this is where I’m especially useful.

I’ve been selling real estate in the Twin Cities for more than 25 years, my family has called this area home for five generations, and after four years working in school admissions, I know the school landscape from the inside, too.

We dropped at Auburn two weekends ago and watched her walk straight into a brand-new chapter: a new school, a new home, new friends, and now a new sisterhood. 🥹

There are some parenting days you know are coming for years, and somehow they still take your breath away when they arrive.

Bets, we could not be more proud of the young woman you are: brave, joyful, kind, independent and so very ready for this next adventure. Auburn & Pi Phi are lucky to have you.

My heart is incredibly full. And also a little bit broken. I suppose that’s exactly how it’s supposed to feel. 🤍

Funny how life makes sense looking backward.

Looking back, I realized there has always been one common thread through my career:

Helping people find where they belong.

Whether that’s finding the right home, the right school, or now, a place to for women to build community, that’s what has always mattered most to me.
