It’s National Dog 🐶 Day and there are so many amazing dogs out there looking for homes. Many rescues are stretched to the limit and badly need fosters. If you already have a dog at home, it actually helps foster dogs learn good behavior and socialization to have another dog in the home teaching them the ropes.

If you have ever considered rescue but were worried you might not be ready to adopt just yet, fostering is a great way to get your feet wet!

This is Simba. He came from a rescue in Arkansas and then was transferred to No Dog Left Behind Rescue here in Minnesota. When I read his story it tugged at my heart strings. We had another rescue dog at home already that had issues getting along with other dogs sometimes. No Dog Left Behind and Christina Wenzel helped me with many strategies to work with them together. We fostered Simba and ended up adopting him. He and Scout are best buddies now and we can’t imagine life without him. If you are interested in fostering or adopting, let me know if I can help!

Proud of Bobby & Owen as “Guards 🛟of the Week” at the Lake Minnetonka Regional Park Swim Pond. They loved going to the swim pond when they were little! It’s a great place to bring your family on a summer day. You can purchase summer passes or day passes.

Happy birthday to the comedian. The guy that keeps us on our toes. Laughing through life, not sweating the small stuff and teaching all of us not to take life so seriously. He’s the guy that includes everyone and always makes sure no one is left out. He is the loyal friend who would stay by your side even if it meant others would walk away. He has character and integrity. Bobby you amaze us with your bravery but more importantly your ability to show up for everyone and bring so much positivity to everyone around you.
