Throughout my 30+ years, they have supported, encouraged, and made me a better Realtor through their multiple personal sales and purchases and multiple referrals of their family and friends! (And we aren't even biologically connected.)😲😁

In this month's Des Moines market update, I break down the latest local housing data, including inventory, home sales, pending sales, home prices, and days on market.

I also share part of my recent conversation with local lender Shannon Thome discussing mortgage rates, buyer expectations, and what consumers should actually be paying attention to in today's market.

April highlights:
• Closed sales increased 14% from March
• Pending sales increased 8% year over year
• Homes sold faster than last month
• Inventory continued to slowly improve
