The Central Ohio housing market is tracking right along with 2025 so far. March sales were up slightly year over year and jumped over 20% from February, which is typical as we head into the spring market.
Inventory is up a bit, helping balance things out, but rising mortgage rates are starting to impact affordabilityâadding about $100/month on a median-priced home. Even with that, home prices are still climbing, up 4.7% year over year, and homes are sitting a little longer than last year.
Overall, the market is steady and competitive, and preparation still mattersâwhether youâre buying or selling, timing the âperfectâ market rarely works.
