We’re bringing you a little team roll call because we’ve had a few fun shifts around the office lately (and no, nobody is leaving, we promise).

Here is the latest gossip from the WCFHBA water cooler:

To kick things off, please join us in welcoming Margaret Stanley in the comments! 👋 She is officially joining the crew as our Director of Membership Services. She’s stepping right into the heart of what we do: supporting members, building relationships, and continuing to grow a membership experience that stays strong, valuable, and connected.

Next up, Hope Taylor is moving into a brand-new role as our Director of Communications & Strategy. Same Hope that you know and trust, just shifting her focus to lead our brand voice and big-picture goals. 🧠⚡

Also, if you’re emailing our Director of Marketing & Media Relations, double-check that spelling! 💍✨ Taylor Bisson (formerly Everson) officially changed her name after tying the knot. Same incredible work, just a slightly different look to her email sign-off.

And of course (absolutely no surprises here), Cameron, Elizabeth, and Woody are staying right where they are, doing what they do best: keeping the entire ship steady, organized, and running like clockwork.💪

Advocacy in action! 🏛️

This past week, Executive Officer Cameron Moore and WCFHBA President Greg Sloan (SatchelFish Design Build) joined fellow NCHAB/NAHB members in Washington, D.C., for the 2026 National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Legislative Conference and Spring Leadership Meeting.

The conference brought together industry leaders from across the country to address critical housing issues, help shape the future of our association, and advocate directly with members of Congress on Capitol Hill. These conversations play an important role in keeping housing a priority for federal lawmakers and ensuring the voices of builders, developers, and housing professionals are represented.

We’re grateful for Cameron and Greg’s dedication to advocating on behalf of our members and advancing policies that support a strong housing market, economic growth, and thriving communities across our region and beyond!🏠

Unpopular opinion: most networking events feel like a polite waste of time. 🤫💼

At the PWB Summit on May 14th, we took a moment to honor one of our most devoted members, Diana Watkins, with Patriot Roofing. Earlier this year, Diana received the heartbreaking news that her cancer had returned. Through it all, she continues to face each day with a strength, resilience, and grace that inspire everyone around her.

During the event, Will Mitchell with Corning Credit Union joined us on stage to present Diana and the PWB Council with a special gift in her honor, a polka dot PWB bandana, because if you know Diana, you know she loves polka dots!

In honor of Diana, we are starting the hashtag . We invite everyone to wear their bandanas, share their photos, and stand with Diana as a symbol of our love, appreciation, and support during this journey. Whether near or far, we hope these polka dots serve as a reminder that Diana is surrounded by a community that loves her deeply and is walking beside her every step of the way.
