🏘️ What’s Next for Meadow Plaza?

A major proposal that could reshape downtown Northbrook is moving into another stage of public review.

The Village Board has voted to send the Meadow Plaza redevelopment proposal to the Plan Commission. The current plan calls for three six-story condominium buildings totaling 150 residences, two commercial parcels along Cherry Lane, and public riverwalk/open space.

Residents and local businesses have raised concerns about building height, density, traffic, and the future of existing businesses. The Plan Commission will review the zoning issues and make a recommendation, but the Village Board will ultimately make the final decision.

This is one Northbrook development worth watching.
