Macassar Shopping Centre is a convenient neighbourhood shopping centre, proudly serving the local community in the heart of Macassar. As a centre that provides residents with easy access to everyday essentials, it is equally committed to making a meaningful difference beyond retail.
Last week, the centre gave back to its community by partnering with Read to Rise which rolled out with a literacy programme to support learners at Macassar Primary School. Through the initiative, every child received their own Oaky series reading book to take home, encouraging a lifelong love of reading and ensuring learning continues beyond the classroom.

The programme also included an engaging reading session, inspiring nearly 1,000 learners with the confidence, curiosity and joy that books can bring.
