Access Park Kenilworth, Cape Town welcomes Freedom Of Movement. It’s the second premium brand to open at the centre in the past month, after WOutlet launched in early October.

FOM was founded in 2013 by two brothers in a small room at Stellenbosch University. It began with one leather craftsman and two products and has grown into a go-to premium South African lifestyle brand built on quality, longevity and local design.

Lyndhurst Square is where the surrounding suburbs do their everyday shopping and it’s about to get busier.

Shoprite opens soon. The refurbished 6,341m2 centre is easy to get in and out of with plenty of parking and quick access to the N3 and continues to benefit from ongoing maintenance and improvements, with work on the parking deck recently completed.

Three days in Durban, one road ahead.

Fairvest joined the retail property industry for the Annual SACSC Congress 2026. This year’s theme, the Yellow Brick Road, asked where retail is heading and what it will take to get there. Some of the best answers came from close to home. A refill store helping lower-income shoppers pay less for everyday essentials. A sneaker-cleaning business that started in Mabopane and now runs several stores across Pretoria. A streetwear brand that has grown into all nine provinces.

For a portfolio rooted in township and non-metropolitan retail, that’s a road we know well. Our takeaway: the next wave of retail growth is local, value-driven and built around community.

The Junction Mall has undergone a series of upgrades, from refreshed exterior branding and new signage to improvements to the parking areas, escalators, lifts and bathrooms.

The work also covers the main entrances and exits, common areas, Centre Management office and general walkways, with attention to the security and cleaning activities that help keep the centre running smoothly.

These improvements reflect our ongoing commitment to maintaining our assets and creating a better experience for shoppers, while continuing to develop the centre for the future.
