Our retirement plan has officially been eaten. 😂
If you’ve ever visited South Coast Real Estate, you’ve probably noticed the rather impressive tomato plant proudly growing right outside our door.
And for months, that plant held something very precious…
One. Singular. Tomato. 🍅
Naturally, we had big plans for Mr. Tomato. He was going to be exported to the Chinese government for an eye-watering sum, and the entire SCRE team was going to retire comfortably on the profits. Property? Sold. Phones? Off. Feet? Up. 😂
Unfortunately, once Mr. Tomato reached his perfectly red, ripe and glorious prime, we realised there was only one sensible thing to do.
We bought fresh bread.
We bought beautiful butter.
We sliced our retirement fund.
And we had a tomato sandwich feast. 🍞🧈🍅
Even our littlest honorary team member, baby Tom Tom, joined us for this monumental occasion.
And strangely enough, our little tomato plant has become quite the office celebrity. We’ve watered it, watched it grow, discussed its progress and discovered that apparently there’s a rather nurturing side hiding underneath all that property talk.
Mr. Tomato may be gone, but his legacy lives on…
Because we now have THREE baby tomatoes growing! 🌱🍅🍅🍅
Sometimes life doesn’t need to be quite so serious. Sometimes you just need to gather the team, butter some bread and eat your retirement plan. 😂
