People are asking me a lot of the same questions about Podium, which is great because it's clearly sparked interest! Here are the answers:
Is Podium just another agency? No. It's specialist, national and built around the property manager, not the brand.

What's in it for a PM? Sustainable workloads, real flexibility, coaching/mentoring, training, support, a salary from day one and rent roll ownership.

Why now? Because an industry that has a 40% churn rate anually can't keep doing the same thing.

Isn't it risky to move? The bigger risk is staying somewhere that you feel unappreciated, burnt out and making no progress towards your own financial freedom.

A huge thank you to the team at REIT for hosting such an incredible Elevate conference.

Over the two days, it was inspiring to hear from industry leaders, share ideas, challenge perspectives, and connect with so many passionate real estate professionals from across Tasmania.

Thank you to Michelle, Tameka, Dustin, Jenna, James and the entire REIT team for your hospitality and for bringing the industry together.

Until next time, Tasmania.

For a lot of property managers, the ceiling is hit quickly. You get good at the job, you take on an increased workload, your title changes and you become the problem solver. Yet, you don't own what your building.

Podium is built so the people growing the business can share in it. Equity. A career path. A reason to stay and build something tangible.

Property managers have carried this industry for years - it's time they had a stake in it.

A brilliant night at the REIA National Awards for Excellence in Melbourne.

NAFE is one of my favourites on the calendar. A room full of the people raising the standard across our industry, from property managers to agents to the businesses quietly doing things properly, all in one place and celebrated for it.

Nights like these are a good reminder of why I love this industry, and the people in it.

May was a full one, in the best way.

A month of airports and footy fields. Board meetings and beach walks. Productive work trips for the REIA board, NAFES and AUSTROS, then a whirlwind week in Tassie with the REIT that delivered on every front: great food, rewarding work and genuinely good people.

In between, the things that actually keep me going. Footy coaching with Huddy (go Ainslie!), slow family time, and coast time with my babes. Great food and even better company at The Oaks Ranch, a delish dinner at Cookie, the Melbourne skyline, and more sunrises and moonrises than I usually stop to notice.

That's the balance I'm always chasing. Work that means something, and the people who make it worth coming home to. ⭐

Property management isn't one job. It can feel like a million moving parts competing for the same attention.

Onboarding new starters. Equipping them with what they need. Building culture.

Welcoming clients. Completing day to day BAU activities. Helping owners build wealth.

Properly is the workforce management platform that holds all of that together, so it runs as a system instead of living in someone's head.

Built for property management agencies and the people in them, to set everyone up to succeed.

Property management is changing.

For years the model rewarded volume. That was never sustainable and the numbers have told us that.

The future? Specialist, not generalist. Built around the property manager. Professional, digitised, remunerated well, and given a pathway to grow.

Poor onboarding rarely shows up as a line on your P&L, but it shows up everywhere else and that impacts the budget significantly.

A new property manager is left to figure it out alone. Three months of avoidable mistakes. Clients who sense the gap before anyone names it. And often, a good person gone before they ever really got started.

That's not a people problem. It's a setup problem, and it's fixable.
Properly exists to fix it, so the people you hire are set up to succeed.

You don't have to be ready to make a move to be curious about it.

If something about how you're working right now isn't sitting well - the volume, the lack of flexibility, the ceiling you can already see - it's worth a conversation.

No sales pitch, no pressure, just an open chat about what you want from your career in property management, and whether Podium might be the right fit for you.

Sometimes it is. Sometimes it isn't. Either way, you'll leave with a clearer picture than you started!

Most teams I work with don't have a values problem. They've workshopped them, written them down, put them on the wall.

The gap is what happens next. Ask ten people what those values actually mean, and you'll likely get ten different answers.

Values only matter once they become behaviours, and behaviours only hold once they become standards everyone can look, see and feel.

If you've ever sat in a meeting wondering why the words on the wall don't reflect the reality in the business, that gap needs closing.

And this just to happens to be the work I love doing with teams. Let's chat.
