Heading into Thanksgiving weekend is always busy, but it also makes me stop and think about how grateful I am for the life that I have 🫶🏻

It’s 𝘴𝘰 easy to get caught up in “what’s next.” The next showing, the next workout, the next thing on the calendar, the next weekend adventure.

But sometimes, it’s not about “what’s next,” it’s about appreciating what’s right in front of you.

Two days are better than one! 🤤🍴

Taste of Cochrane is back October 17th & 18th, and this year you have the whole weekend to eat your way through some of Cochrane’s local food and drink scene.

Buying or selling a home is a big deal. And you deserve a Realtor who treats it that way.

For me, that means building a relationship where you feel comfortable being honest about what you want, what you’re unsure about, and what matters most to you. I never want my clients to feel like they need to have all the answers before they walk through the door.

Real estate might be my job, but it’s definitely not my entire personality 😂

When I’m not showing houses, negotiating offers, or answering calls, you’ll usually find me outside staying active, attempting to master another hobby, supporting a local business, or spending time with the people I love most.

And the best part about Cochrane is there’s always another trail to explore, another local spot to try, or another adventure waiting just around the corner 🤎

I’m just not convinced 🤷🏼‍♀️

Because here’s the thing (and I’m speaking from experience), moving from the city to a place like Cochrane allows for a certain exhale.

An exhale from the overwhelm of the traffic, the constant noise, the packed schedules, and the feeling that you’re always rushing from one thing to the next.

It’s the ability to step outside and actually have space around you. To know your neighbours, support the businesses down the street, take the dog for a walk on a trail, or head toward the mountains when you need a little reset.

And no, Cochrane isn’t perfect. No place is. But if you’re looking for a little more space, a little more community, and a lifestyle that makes it easier to slow down and enjoy where you live, I’d love to be the one to help you find that here 🤎

Calling all my vintage-loving friends around Cochrane! 🪻

Anyone who loves the handmade, rustic, farmhouse, or cottage aesthetic is going to want to stop by the Prairie Girls Vintage Market this Friday and Saturday.

There will be lots of local vendors and makers to browse and plenty of unique finds to discover, making it a good excuse to grab a friend or two and spend part of the weekend supporting some of the talented people in our community.

Who knows, you might even find something you didn’t even know you were looking for until you saw it! 🤎

Funny how a new season sometimes has a way of showing you what’s working... and what’s not 🏡

It’s almost time for one of my favourite weekends of the year! 🤠

The Cochrane Lions Rodeo is back September 4–7, and whether you’ve been going for years or you’re thinking about checking it out for the very first time, it’s always such a fun way to spend the long weekend.

Between the rodeo action, parade, barn dance, and all the classic fair food (hot dogs and an ice cold lemonade are my personal fav!), there’s something for every age to enjoy.

And if you’re heading downtown to catch the Labour Day Parade on Monday, September 7, don’t forget to stop by the Cochrane Activettes’ Annual Pancake Breakfast from 8:30-10:30 am! 🥞

I’ll be volunteering that morning, so come say hi if you’re there 🤎

Being a mom has changed the way I look at houses... and honestly, I think it’s made me a better Realtor 🤎

Now I pay attention to things I may not have even thought to check before I had my son. Can you see the kids from the kitchen? Is there room for muddy boots by the front door? Will the morning school routine actually feel manageable here? Is this a home that will still work a few years from now?

Because these “little” things can often become the things you appreciate most after you’ve got the keys in your hands 🔑
