Patience was definitely needed with this property! Commercial transactions typically take much longer than residential sales, and financing can be more complex, with lenders often requiring buyers to jump through many more hoops.

That being said, this property is now SOLD! 🎉

The business which operated here was Borstad Relocation Systems, and in Grande Prairie, the Borstad name has a long and respected history in the moving industry.
In 1953, Elmer Borstad, along with his father Cloff and brother Roy, founded Borstad Cartage. Elmer later went on to serve Grande Prairie as an alderman, mayor and MLA.
Over the years, there have been several different owners associated with the Borstad Cartage name.

CONGRATULATIONS to my wonderful Buyers, Blake & Jamie, on the purchase of their new home! It was a pleasure helping them find the right house. As newer residents of Grande Prairie, I'm excited to see them putting down roots in our community. One of my favourite features of their new property is the incredible yard—loaded with raspberries, apples, haskaps, strawberries, cherries, rhubarb, asparagus, and more. I may have to stop by and "inspect" the garden once everything is ready to harvest! 😄

This possession also marks the end of my Sellers and friends, Peter & Stephanie's, time in Grande Prairie.
