Good news from this week's Regional Council meeting on Waterloo Region's water capacity challenges.

Council approved several measures that will help move projects forward while longer-term solutions are developed. While additional work is still needed around capacity allocation and future growth planning, today's discussion reflected growing momentum and collaboration among industry, municipal, and provincial partners.

We're encouraged to see progress being made toward supporting both housing and employment growth while maintaining a resilient water system.

What happens when you give a golfer a driver, a marshmallow, and the chance to win a one-year subscription to CoNotes?

The answer: pure entertainment.

At last week's WRHBA Golf Tournament, golfers stopped by the Polocorp hole to take on the Marshmallow Shot challenge.

Some crushed it.

Some barely got off the tee.

And some decided the marshmallow was better suited as a snack than a golf ball.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make it one of the most fun stops on the course. We had a great day connecting with industry friends and sharing a few laughs along the way.
