London Ontario realtor story time! A buyer’s agent asked me for the lockbox code so her cousin could enter one of my listings without her. The cousin was not a licensed realtor🔐🏠

Absolutely not. 🚫

When someone trusts me to sell their home, protecting that property is one of my most important responsibilities. Lockbox codes should never be shared with unauthorized people, and buyers should always be accompanied by a licensed real estate professional.

A major explosion at a vacant home in London, Ontario has left one person with critical injuries.

My thoughts are with the injured person, their loved ones, and everyone impacted by this incident.

Emergency crews responded quickly, and the cause remains under investigation.

This has also raised a broader question for our community. Do you think the City of London should have stricter rules, inspections, or oversight for vacant properties? I’d be interested to hear your thoughts in the comments.
