At Delta House, we're proud to provide a supportive community for young adults with serious and persistent mental illness.

Our goal is simple: to empower individuals to build on their strengths, foster connection, and thrive on their path toward greater independence.

Through our Bridging Program, we support residents as they transition into nearby market rental housing. Even after the move, our team stays connected, offering continued guidance and resources to ensure lasting success.

We design our programs to help residents build confidence, connect with community, and reach their personal goals. During their two-year stay at Delta House, we provide the foundation and guidance needed to support a successful journey forward.

Join us in celebrating the power of independence and community. Visit fraserside.bc.ca to learn more about Delta House and our Bridging Program.

True belonging is built one person, one relationship, and one milestone at a time.

We believe that true community resilience is built on dignity, respect and care. Guided by our commitment to helping people belong and thrive, Fraserside directly supported 531 unique individuals across Surrey, New Westminster, Burnaby, and the Tri-Cities this past fiscal year.

At Fraserside Community Services Society, our mission is simple yet profound: to create communities where the needs of all people are met and where everyone belongs. Together, this past year we:

* Provided emergency shelter and housing transitions for vulnerable families and children.

* Delivered low-barrier outpatient addiction counselling with average wait times under 20 days.

* Fostered daily life skills, mental health recovery, and social inclusion through our community programs.

* Delivered round-the-clock residential care for adults with complex developmental and health needs.

Thank you for walking alongside us! Visit fraserside.bc.ca to discover how we are building a community where everyone belongs.

It looks like any home in a welcoming neighborhood—flowers in the yard, chalk drawings underfoot, and a playset in the backyard. But for the families who walk through its doors, it represents something far greater: a safe sanctuary where parents and children can feel secure, share a warm meal, and begin planning for their future.

Safe shelter isn't just a roof overhead—it’s the foundation every family entering our doors needs to rebuild their lives.

At Fraserside, our Emergency Family Shelter provides a safe, cozy, home-like environment for parents and children who lost their homes.

Last year, our shelter supported 74 individuals across 24 distinct family units—including 38 children. Through steady advocacy and wraparound support, 81% of these families transitioned directly out of crisis and into stable housing situations, including independent living in the communities of their choice and, in some situations into second-stage and other supporting housing.

Yet, the reality of our region’s housing crisis remains stark. Due to overwhelming demand, we were forced to turn away over 1,700 people last year—including more than 700 children. This is why we refuse to stand still.

Driven by our mission to create a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, we are actively working to open a new family shelter in Surrey to offer urgent, often life-changing support to even more families in need.

At Fraserside Community Services Society, we are committed to acknowledging the past, honouring Indigenous voices, and fostering reconciliation.
We gratefully and humbly acknowledge that Fraserside works and resides on the traditional and unceded territory of Coast Salish Peoples, including the Qayqayt, Kwikwetlem, Tsleil-Waututh, Katzie, Semiahmoo, Kwantlen, and Tsawwassen First Nations.

Today, on Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we stand alongside Indigenous communities in remembrance and reflection. We encourage everyone to wear an orange shirt to stand in solidarity and to remember the children who didn’t come home.

Today and everyday, we continue to listen, learn and work together towards a more just and equitable future.

Highlights from our first Annual Diversity Day at Fraserside Community Services Society! 🌍 It was inspiring to see our team come together, and embrace the richness that diversity brings to our agency and community.

A special thank you to our Guest Speaker, Roselene Dhaliwal, for sharing her valuable insights and inspiring us all, and to the Royal Academy of Punjab for their lively Bhangra dance workshop that got everyone moving!

When we celebrate diversity, we not only strengthen our team culture and foster understanding, but we also create a more inclusive environment for everyone. Here’s to many more years of growth, unity, and shared stories! 💙
