This has to get figured out, as it could eventually effect( not likley, but possible) all BC land owners. Our provincial governments over past years have been kicking this can down the road, and now it's come home to Roost! This in effect, could make your indefeasable title, now defeasable, leaving your ownership status on shaky ground. Thomas Issac's thoughts on the recent BC supreme court's decsion regarding the Cowichan land. The ruling found that the grants of fee simple title held by the federal government and the City of Richmond on this land are invalid because they unjustifiably infringed on the Cowichan's title. a worthwhile watch.

Wait, what!! I know alot of swimmers who love swimming in the ocean, however not so much in Vancouver habour, with the multitude of ships, tugs, etc. Im not sure this spot is a good use of funds. Yes for a couple of summer months. Great for the local businesses here when its used, but will be short lived, and the maintenance costs will live on. Any thoughts?
