One thing I’ve been explaining a lot lately to sellers is this:
You can’t compare today’s market to the COVID market… because they were completely different seasons.

It’s like trying to sell winter jackets in July and wondering why they aren’t getting the same response they got in December.

The demand was different.
The urgency was different.
The conditions were different.

During COVID, interest rates were low, buyers were highly emotional, inventory was tight, and homes were getting multiple offers constantly.

That was one season of real estate.

Today’s market requires a different strategy, different expectations, and different pricing.

It doesn’t mean your home isn’t valuable.
It just means markets change, and successful sellers adapt to the season they’re in, not the one they wish they still had.
