Didn’t want to let another day go by without wishing these wonderful clients a HUGE congratulations on the purchase of their beautiful new home! 🏡✨

Important Update For Landlords and Tenants 📣 🏠

If you’re a landlord or tenant in Ontario, there are some changes coming to the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA) that you’ll want to be aware of.

The new amendments take effect September 21, 2026 and include changes around:

- Landlord responsibilities
- Tenant rights when a property needs to be vacated for renovations
- Notice periods when rent hasn’t been paid
