With over 30 years as partners in life, we're officially decided to become partners in real estate too. This weekend, we shared the news with a few close friends at the lake: maragritas, snacks, REALTOR® socks and all.

Mother’s Day was a little bit of everything this year.

It started with our first golf cart ride of the season to enjoy a fantastic brunch at The Landing at Gleniffer Lake, then we went over to Carefree where Dave and I spent part of the afternoon painting trim for a project he’s working on there tomorrow. Not exactly a spa day… but hey, it felt pretty perfect anyway.

Somewhere between paint coats, the lake started calling my name and I had to walk to the shore to check the water levels for myself. There’s just something about this time of year out here - the birds, the haze on the water, the feeling that another lake season is almost here.

We had a hot tub when we got home, Dave made dinner, and the day was capped by a great call from the kids.

Maybe not what some moms might expect, but it worked for me!

5 years in real estate taught me how to read between the lines when someone says “just looking,” how to keep things together when timelines get tight, and how to spot a “small project” from a mile away. It’s not always predictable, but that’s part of why I still love it.

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey. You are appreciated more than you probably know.

I can't wait to see what the next 5 years bring!
