How Condo Deconversion Changes the Value Game
Condos are usually valued by comparable sales, but once one owner controls the whole building and collapses the condo association, the appraisal can shift to the income approach. That means the building is valued based on rent — and in this example, $250K/year in projected income created a conservative value around $2.5M.
