What a weekend for our RPS Flag Football program.

I started coaching Flag Football when it was brought into the middle schools 2023 when Evan was in Grade 8. As he moved on to high school, we kept building it together, with Evan stepping in as a coach the following year. This season, we were lucky to add Lori Boyles and former player Reyes Mengual to our coaching staff, and what a difference they made.

We may be a small school, but this year we had 4 teams, more than any other school, and this weekend 3 of them brought home medals.

I’m proud of what this program has become. The effort, teamwork, sportsmanship, and support these athletes showed one another this past weekend was incredible to watch.
