๐ Toronto Market Update โ July 2026
July brought a shift in Toronto's housing market, with home sales increasing 2% year-over-year while new listings declined 17%, resulting in fewer homes available for buyers and increased competition for well-priced properties.
The average home price in Toronto was $1,010,836, down 3% compared to July 2025. While prices adjusted across most housing types, the market remained balanced overall, with lower borrowing costs continuing to support buyer confidence.

โ Semi-Detached: $1,122,326 (-10%)
โ Townhouse: $867,635 (-6%)
โ Condo Apartment: $672,807 (-2%)
With inventory levels lower than last year, buyers may face increased competition, while sellers can benefit from reduced supplyโprovided their homes are priced and presented strategically.
